I ran downstairs to find ainsley crying and a bloody towel under her chin. It's not just a deep cut, it's like her chin just split open into a huge gaping hold, seriously the weirdest injury I have ever seen on one of my kids. Graphic picture here so don't scroll down if you don't want to see it.
Yes, that is a HOLE. You could actually see the fat and tissue under the skin.
She was AMAZING. The doctor brought two nurses in with her to hold her down while they did stitches. She barely moved a muscle with the exception of a handful of big alligator tears. She definitely got ice cream after that one!
She got 5 stitches in her chin and a big fat ice cream. Yay for Sundays!

Ouch! I hope she feels better soon. We also had Meridee in the ER for stiches this week. 8 in her forehead. Crazy!

What did you do to her? That's a freak injury. What did she hit to miss the jaw bone and hit the soft tissue? Oh and BTW, that's sooooo NOT graphic. I can post graphic injuries if you want to see graphic!
Pour girl! What did she hit it on? That is horrible. I hope you all feel better soon. It's hard when your kids are hurting and there is nothing you can do about it.
That is exactly what Kallie's chin looked like when she cut hers open not to long ago.
